Location:Phoenix Arizona. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a combination of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration with our Phoenix-area team.

Note:Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Arizona have 3 years of attorney experience and bring at least 1 year of insurance defense litigation experience.

Job Description

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate liability damages and potential exposure.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery briefs and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy developments and recommended next steps.
• Manage discovery deadlines experts and an active litigation caseload.
• Work collaboratively with partners attorneys and support professionals on complex defense matters.
• Assist with trial preparation and take on increasing courtroom responsibility based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
• 3 years of attorney experience.
• 1 year of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing research case management and litigation skills.
• Excellent communication judgment and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid Phoenix environment.
• Deposition mediation hearing and trial experience preferred.
