Pay: $27.37-$29.87/hour

Position Overview:
Make a meaningful impact as an Instructor at Seven Hills Pediatric Center where you will provide specialized education and care for residents with severe special needs. Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team develop and implement curriculum and foster a positive learning environment. This role combines teaching planning and supervision to enhance the quality of life and learning for those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute individualized curriculum and weekly instruction plans.
  • Supervise and evaluate teacher assistants modeling best practices and teaching new skills.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff social workers and other team members to support residents needs.
  • Provide instruction in diverse settings including classrooms bedside or community spaces.
  • Participate in resident assessments ISP/IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning.
  • Manage educational materials and maintain a safe organized learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associates degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a related field preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance) and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Other Requirements: Standard drivers license; ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
