A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Optical Inspector at MKS you will partner with the engineering and cleaning team to perform inspection operations on parts materials and components while documenting this role you will report to the Senior Supervisor Optics Coating/Coating Operations and Manufacturing Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Performing inspection operations of incoming parts materials components and document results.

• Coordinating the collection and disposition of coated material.

• Determining or assisting in methods sequences and procedures necessary for coating/inspection.

• Working from written procedures drawings sketches and specifications.

• Performing inspection/spectroscopy measurements where necessary.

Skills You Bring:

• Completion of high school diploma vocational training or equivalent is preferred

• One or more years of related experience.

• Experience using inspection tools and devices such as calipers micrometers microscope height gauges scratch dig standards (preferred).

• Experience performing per-coat/post coat inspection cleaning handling and packaging optics a plus.

• Ability to inspect per Mil Specs (MIL-PRF-13830) lighting & high intensity lighting to verify conformance to product specification

• Ability to measure and calculate visual defects measure mechanical dimensions create FAI reports review per AS9100 perform final inspection per MIL-PRF-13830 & ISO 10110 specs

• Ability to document data against print and router update records and write IQN

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time inside/outside cleanrooms (ISO-6/-7)

• Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 25 lbs.

• Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below at and above shoulder level.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $22.50 - 37.50 USD Hourly. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by MKS it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS or as applicable.
