Brinkman Products Inc. is an industrial goods manufacturing company encompassing two lines of business; Davenport Machine and CJ Winter. Both manufacture proprietary product lines which include Davenport multi-spindle screw machines thread rolling attachments thread rolls and tooling.

About the Position

We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team and support customers in the precision machining and manufacturing industries.

This is an opportunity to work with a highly specialized product line backed by a strong manufacturing heritage. You will help customers identify the right equipment tooling and replacement parts while building lasting relationships with manufacturers who rely on Davenport products.

The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. You dont need to be a traditional salesperson to succeed-you need to understand technical challenges ask the right questions and deliver solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding Davenport screw machines tooling and genuine replacement parts.
• Develop quotations review customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Assist customers in identifying replacement parts and tooling for their specific applications.
• Interpret engineering drawings technical specifications and parts documentation.
• Work with engineering manufacturing and production teams to confirm technical requirements pricing and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on quotations and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers distributors and manufacturing professionals.
• Coordinate customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment.
• Provide responsive knowledgeable service to help customers minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Qualifications

• Technical aptitude and an interest in machining manufacturing or mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand technical documentation.
• Sales applications engineering estimating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC machining screw machines precision tooling or machine components is a plus.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• A self-motivated detail-oriented individual who takes ownership and follows through.
