Job Role

As a member of our clinical team you will work under the supervision of our physician principal investigators and clinical nurse manager on the conduct of pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trialsin accordance withFDA regulations and GCP guidelines. Typical tasks will include but not be limited to IV catheterization and drug infusion injections phlebotomy medical record and lab results review reconciling medications and medical liaising. The ideal candidate will have recent bedside experience. Clinical research experience is a plus.
In addition Infusion Nurses at Adams Clinical will also work closely with other members of the study team providing mentoring direction and guidance to clinical research coordinators. This position will also involve general research-related responsibilities likefacilitatingthe informed consent process administration of screening procedures data entry maintenance of regulatory binders and other nursing functions as required in support of the clinical trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• IV placementinitiationand management of IV infusions per sponsor provided protocol
• Assistwith difficult phlebotomy and IV placement for phlebotomy
• Administration of subcutaneous or intramuscular injections
• Medical record review
• Assistwith collection of AEs concomitant medications medical history
• Medical support on site
• Willingness to commute to two locations in Massachusetts Boston area
• Uphold GCP

Job Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Bachelors degree in nursing
• No prior clinical research experience needed
  

Pay: $45- $55 hourly commensurate with experience

Hours:

This is a per diem/PRN position with hours scheduled based on study and clinical needs. Candidates must have the availability to provide on-site clinical support at least 2 weekdays per week as needed to support protocol-required activities and participant visits. The expected frequency of availability may be adjusted based on applicable study protocols site needs and operational requirements.
