Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. You will be part of a fast-paced collaborative environment where your expertise in systems administration will directly contribute to the success of mission-critical applications. Responsibilities:
Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues (servers network security etc.) using advanced systems analysis techniques.
Analyze troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems servers storage and network connectivity.
Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and ensure robust security measures are in place.
Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain the security and integrity of the technical environment.
Support new infrastructure projects and initiatives.
Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation for all assigned infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with architects technical leads software developers testers security teams and stakeholders.
Be available for off-hours work as needed for support and deployments.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ poly.
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 10 years of related experience.
Extensive experience with Linux operating systems in development/test and production environments.
Prior experience in a corporate or customer-facing role.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and investigative skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
Experience managing large projects or processes that span multiple departments.
Desired:
Recognized subject matter expert in systems administration.
Proven experience managing projects with minimal oversight.
Working knowledge of Puppet Satellite IPA Nagios and Net App.
Ability to influence policies practices and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills for complex and undefined issues.
Innovative mindset with a track record of making significant improvements to systems or products.
Creativity and ingenuity in developing new technical solutions.
Ability to regularly employ innovative techniques to enhance system performance.
