InfrastructureSystems Administrator

The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. You will be part of a fast-paced collaborative environment where your expertise in systems administration will directly contribute to the success of mission-critical applications. Responsibilities:

• Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues (servers network security etc.) using advanced systems analysis techniques.

• Analyze troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems servers storage and network connectivity.

• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and ensure robust security measures are in place.

• Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to maintain the security and integrity of the technical environment.

• Support new infrastructure projects and initiatives.

• Maintain comprehensive configuration documentation for all assigned infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with architects technical leads software developers testers security teams and stakeholders.

• Be available for off-hours work as needed for support and deployments.

• Active TS/SCI w/ poly.

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

• Minimum 10 years of related experience.

• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems in development/test and production environments.

• Prior experience in a corporate or customer-facing role.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills to understand and resolve complex problems.

• Experience managing large projects or processes that span multiple departments.

• Recognized subject matter expert in systems administration.

• Proven experience managing projects with minimal oversight.

• Working knowledge of Puppet Satellite IPA Nagios and Net App.

• Ability to influence policies practices and procedures.

• Strong problem-solving skills for complex and undefined issues.

• Innovative mindset with a track record of making significant improvements to systems or products.

• Creativity and ingenuity in developing new technical solutions.

• Ability to regularly employ innovative techniques to enhance system performance.
