Porter is a platform-as-a-service that runs in the customers own cloud deploying applications into their AWS GCP or Azure accounts with a streamlined developer experience. Under the hood it provisions and operates Kubernetes clusters so startups get enterprise-grade infrastructure.
Founded in 2020 Porter has raised $21.5M and has about 24 people.
Porter is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure management system behind its multi-cloud platform. It is a pure IC role on a flat team and your work is the product: you will write the software that manages and rolls out changes across every customer environment.
- Build the software that provisions manages and rolls out infrastructure changes across hundreds of customer cloud accounts.
- Design cloud-agnostic architecture that scales from seed-stage startups to public companies cost-effectively.
- Engineer automated systems for multi-cloud Kubernetes at scale.
- Work directly with customers to understand their infrastructure needs and improve the platform.
- Raise the bar on reliability and code quality.
- Experience as an infrastructure or platform engineer writing production software
- Strong Go and Kubernetes
- Hands-on AWS GCP or Azure and Terraform
- Comfort working directly with customers
- Argo CD and Helm
- Multi-cloud platform experience
30 days PTO and 30 remote work days per year.
