Job responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale and ensures end to end monitoring of applications

• Resolves most nuances and determines appropriate escalation path

• Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems

• Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applications

• Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses

• Considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications

• Be accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications

• Adds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience

• Experience working in relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server or any other RDBMS.

• Experience in database design and developing. Writing T-SQL code and various database objects like Stored Procs Views etc. Experience with Git or other VCS

• Working experience for ETL tools (like SSIS) Reporting tools (like SSRS) and Analytic tools (like SSAS).

• Experience working on overall database management system including performance tuning security.

• Ability to dive into complex problems to troubleshoot and implement functional solutions; Provide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including design implementation and delivery

• Understanding cloud virtualization APIs and modern software languages;

• Experience with developing frameworks that help increase developer efficiencyrelease velocity code health and technical standards

• Experience working with two or more from the following: database Windows/Unix/Linux environments large scale software development security software development

• Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Proficiency Python desirable

• Understanding and experience of decoupling/microservice patterns is advantageous
