As a Data Center Industry Program Manager you will serve as a trusted advisor both internally working with project teams to develop client solutions; and externally helping solve our clients toughest capital projects challenges as part of growing our business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Youll serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert building strong client relationships and providing strategic guidance to solve complex project and business challenges.
Youll support business development efforts through industry expertise thought leadership proposal development and participation in industry events.
Youll act as an Owners Representative overseeing capital projects from planning and initiation through execution closeout and handover.
Youll lead project planning and delivery activities ensuring alignment with client objectives budgets schedules and performance expectations.
Youll develop and implement program tools processes and initiatives that drive operational excellence team growth and client success.
Youll build and maintain impactful relationships with stakeholders at all levels including presenting recommendations and updates to executive leadership.
Youll monitor program performance assess client needs analyze key metrics and recommend scalable solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
Youll advise clients on resource planning and allocation strategies including staffing and Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) management.
Youll collaborate with architects engineers contractors and client teams to drive successful project execution and achievement of program goals.
Youll identify and mitigate project risks while fostering effective communication and coordination across project teams vendors subcontractors and stakeholders.
Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
With all our roles there is some in-person time for collaboration learning and building relationships with clients peers leaders and communities. As an employer we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in construction management project management engineering architecture or equivalent experience/degree
10 years experience in the data center industry including strong knowledge of Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) disciplines
15 years of progressive experience.
Demonstrated functional knowledge of all phases of construction and capital projects.
Experience in project delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents plans and specifications.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and other capital projects platforms.
$200000 - $230000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois Maine Minnesota California Colorado District of Columbia Maryland Massachusetts New York New Jersey Ohio Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
