Job Summary
Develop maintain and enhance COBOL applications using Micro Focus COBOL
Design and support batch processing programs and file-handling systems on Unix
Work extensively in Unix/Linux environments for execution deployment and troubleshooting
Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing validation and integration
Perform database interactions from COBOL programs (embedded SQL)
Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient COBOL solutions
Debug and resolve issues across application database and Unix layers
Support production systems incident resolution and performance tuning
Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards
Skills: Mainframe DB2 - Application DevelopmentFoundation : JavaScriptSystem Z - Enterprise COBOL
Experience Required: 10 & Above
