Position Overview

Responsible for documenting security-related items such as security measures user entitlements reports alerts incidents vendor information vulnerabilities (internal and external). Work closely with the Director of Information Security to evaluate monitor maintain and enhance banks security program. Assist with the implementation of security controls and where needed coverage of functions of the Information Security Analyst position.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor investigate review and document security alerts and reports generated from various platforms and applications.
• Update documentation and prepare material for quarterly IT Steering Committee or other governance entities
• Assist with the installation configuration and administration of security applications to help protect the banks infrastructure and customer information.
• Oversight and Management of Use Access Review Process.
• Document and assist with any security breaches or incidents
• Manage vulnerability scans and patch management of internal systems.
• Document and review bank vendors security documentation; work with vendors to provide required documentation. And assist in remediation vulnerabilities as needed.
• Manage Information Security Awareness Training for employees.
• Manage investigation and triage related to malicious e-mails.
• Update and maintain Information Security procedure documentation.
• Work with the Director of Information Security to research and make recommendations for security enhancements and other ways to strengthen the banks security program
• Remain current on technology & information security trends and security standards
• Work closely with the IT support function and assist as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• In-depth knowledge of the financial services business regulations and standard practices followed by banks/credit unions.
• 2-5 years experience working in a related Information Security role.
• Acute attention to detail with emphasis on thoroughness and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Aptitude to function in a team environment manage time efficiently and prioritize activities
• Proven ability to collaborate and develop relationships with business partners or unit managers to ensure objectives are met
• Good comprehension of computer software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Microsoft Office Suite M365 and Salesforce

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position the employee is in regular communication is required to use various tools or objects and have the mobility to move about the office. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
