Job Summary
InterDent is seeking a detail-oriented Information Processing Specialist to support the organization by collecting reviewing processing and maintaining business and operational information. The successful candidate will work with electronic records databases spreadsheets and internal systems to ensure information is accurate complete organized and accessible to authorized personnel.
This position may support a remote work arrangement depending on business requirements. The Information Processing Specialist will collaborate with teams across multiple departments identify inconsistencies process information efficiently and help maintain high standards of data quality and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect process enter and update information in internal databases and business systems.
- Review source documents and records for accuracy completeness and consistency.
- Identify missing duplicate or inconsistent information and coordinate corrections.
- Perform routine data-quality and information-verification checks.
- Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.
- Process administrative financial employee practice and operational information.
- Prepare spreadsheets reports summaries and tracking documents for internal teams.
- Retrieve and provide authorized information in response to internal requests.
- Assist operations finance human resources and practice-support teams with information-processing activities.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient employee financial and company information.
- Follow established procedures for data security document management and information retention.
- Communicate effectively with remote and onsite team members to resolve information-related issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Previous experience in information processing data entry records management administrative support or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and database applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve routine information-processing issues.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment when applicable.
- Commitment to protecting confidential information and maintaining data integrity.
