- Provide a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (6 weeks to 12 months)
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and developmental activities aligned with early childhood education standards
- Monitor and document each infants daily progress milestones and developmental needs
- Maintain consistent feeding sleeping and diapering schedules for each child
- Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their childs daily activities and growth
- Ensure classroom cleanliness safety and compliance with state childcare licensing regulations
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a positive team-oriented classroom environment
- High school diploma or GED required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or early childhood education coursework preferred
- Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting
- Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning activities
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet Illinois DCFS childcare licensing requirements
- Warm patient and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with babies
- Strong communication skills with parents guardians and team members
