• Weekly pay of $23.00 per hour

• Prepare sheet metal surfaces for coating by cleaning sanding masking or applying pre-treatment solutions.

• Operate powder coating spray equipment to apply coatings evenly on sheet metal products.

• Adjust and monitor coating thickness color consistency and finish quality according to specifications.

• Inspect coated parts for defects such as runs sags or uneven coverage making corrections as needed.

• Maintain coating equipment spray guns and curing ovens in good working condition.

• Follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE while handling coating materials and equipment.

• Night Shift 8:00 pm to 6:30 am

• Monday - Thursday

• overtime on Friday Saturday & Sunday available

The painting responsibility includes:

The painter is the local owner of the process quality throughput organization and cleanliness of the paint area and is accountable for the success of the area including but not limited to the functions below.

Reading understanding and following the companies Procedures and Paint Product Data Sheets

Responsible for measuring wet mil thicknesses during paint application dry mil thicknesses and other quality requirements

Operating the equipment in the paint area

Loading the product onto carts with cranes and forklifts and moving into the paint system

Surface prep

Masking of specific areas

Mixing paints per the product data sheets with solvents matching the paints

Painting with:

o enamel primer and top coat and

o as required special coatings including two and three-part epoxies with and without zinc

o multi-part urethanes.

o Other coatings as required.

Applying second and third coats per Product Data Sheets

Communicating with supervisor on special long dry requirements before painting

Pulling the product out of the paint area and moving it to the next operation with cranes or forklifts

Cleaning and organizing the paint equipment and area

Performing maintenance on the equipment and in the paint area

Maintaining inventory of paint supplies and notifying supervisor before the operation shuts down.
