Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager (K Level) in North Charleston SC.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Industrial Engineering.
• Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
• Manages develops and motivates employees.

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Completed bachelors degree
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functionalproject/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
• 3 years of working in an engineering organization in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry
• 5 years of working as an industrial engineering or similar in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• 3 years of experience leading a team to accomplish project and departmental goals
• 3 years of experience leading teammates in a formal and/or informal role
