Job Summary
Supports the departments Subject Mater Expert (SME) in the sizing design mechanical drawings and testing of electric motors operating at speeds up to 70000 rpm used in our fans pumps and compressors.
Performs electromagnetic thermal and mechanical analysis using simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
Creates detailedCAD models drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Develops motor performance specifications and validation test plans. Conducts performance testing (efficiency torque speed thermal vibration noise).
Analyzes and optimize motor efficiency.
Bachelors degree (BS) in Mechanical Electrical
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and motor design principles
Understanding of winding techniques lamination stacks magnets and insulation systems
