Industrial Electric Motor Winder Repair Technician

Pay: $25$34/hour DOE Overtime

We are hiring experienced Industrial Electric Motor Winders / Repair Technicians who are willing to relocate to Corpus Christi Texas. Qualified candidates may receive a substantial relocation housing and bonus package in addition to hourly pay and overtime.

• $1000 Sign-On Bonus paid at start

• Disassemble and inspect industrial electric motors
• Remove and replace existing windings
• Wind and install new coils
• Repair and rebuild AC/DC motors stators rotors and armatures
• Record winding data and follow specifications for rewinding
• Perform motor testing and troubleshooting
• Reassemble motors and prepare completed equipment for final testing
• Use precision tools electrical testing equipment and industrial shop machinery
• Follow safety quality and production procedures

• 2 years of hands-on electric motor winding or motor repair experience
• Experience working with AC and/or DC industrial motors
• Experience with motor teardown rewinding repair and reassembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment and shop tools
• Ability to read work orders specifications and technical information
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
