Industrial Construction Trainee Electrical

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution transmission substations lighting traffic signaling utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Industrial Construction Trainees supporting the installation of electrical systems on a large-scale industrial project. This role is ideal for candidates who are dependable safety-focused and willing to perform physically demanding work in a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of electrical infrastructure including pulling medium voltage cable by hand
• Perform general heavy labor tasks such as lifting carrying staging materials and site cleanup
• Support crews with tool handling equipment setup and daily work activities
• Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures at all times
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor construction environment

Qualifications

• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor (lifting pulling working on feet for extended periods)
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic reliability and positive attitude
• Ability to follow directions and work safely around active construction operations
• Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
• Drug and Background screenings required
