JOB TITLE: Outreach Therapist

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time 40 hours/wk

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday flexible hours

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)

Come join a collaborative team that strengthens the relationships of teens and their families and promotes long-term change.

MST is an in-home family therapy model for teens struggling with at-risk behaviors such as substance use family conflict or school problems. MST works with the teens entire social support system (individual family peer school community) to improve behaviors and strengthen family relationships.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to MST model.
• Performs home and community-based care.
• Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes.
• Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural support.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with family members stakeholders and other service providers.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention.
• When appropriate facilitates drug testing
• Participates in all MST training supervision and consultation activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters degree in mental health related field.

Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment assessment evaluation and provision of individual group and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned. Prior training in MST preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Associate license as an LMSW LMFTA LPCA per the State of CT rules LCSW LMFT LPC preferred.

COMPENSATION*:

$61252.26 minimum-$91877.14 maximum

*Actual rates within this range are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. (Please note for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
