Job Summary
People
- Identify and mentor #2s
- Conduct and document monthly 1 on 1s in PDC
- Responsible for timely annual performance review and development maps for team members
- Ensure team members complete mandatory trainings prior to due date
- Administrative management of DayForce IDM Overtime and Vacation
- Drive team morale and reallocate workload accordingly to ensure employee satisfaction and retention
Customer
- Take an active role in the successful transition of new business/ updates to existing business
- Regularly attend and actively participate in customer facing engagements
- Conduct 2 customer calls per week and log in CRM
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action plan with customers and account stakeholders
- Stay apprised of market conditions and proactively communicate impact to customers
Operations
- Ensure cross-training among the team in order to support team coverage
- Take an active role to support their manager and act as the escalation point
- Monitor workboard for the team and adjust the daily plan accordingly
- Understand department process flow relative to OPA requirement
- Constantly and continuously look for areas of improved efficiency with an emphasis around digitalization
- Understand and take action to resolve anything in red or at risk of missing global expectations
- Ensure compliance to company policies and external regulations
- Proactively communicate with the team to ensure awareness and understanding of policies and regulations
- Professionally represent Expeditors to our customers service providers and government agencies
Finance
- Ongoing review of provisions and A/R resulting in zero reserve
- Ensure revenue recognition and timely action on provisions
- Understand and drive profitability at the customer and department level
- Produce customer P&Ls on monthly basis
- Understanding of P&L including review of monthly expenses
EXPECTATIONS:
- Measure adoption of technology within the team and drive continuous improvement
- Pursue industry certifications Expeditors Leadership Platform and Leader-Leader model
- Regularly request additional responsibilities to support the team and the department
Qualifications :
- 2 years of industry specific qualification (country specific)
- Good market and product knowledge
- Effective interpersonal skills including proven abilities to listen comprehend effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Good computer skills (Excel Word)
- Proven supervisory attitude
Additional Information :
Expected base salary: $57000.00
