Schedule:12-hour shifts 6AM6:30PM

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide geriatric nursing care to residents at the Arizona State Veteran Home in Tucson. The Floor RN will administer medications and treatments assess residents maintain clinical documentation support care plans and provide guidance to nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in physical and behavioral conditions.
• Complete nursing assessments care plans and required documentation.
• Communicate with residents families and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide direction and support to CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Participate in staff training in-services and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic and hygienic environment.

Requirements:

• Active RN license/certification
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Food Handlers Card.
• TB Skin Test
• Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination
