Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Imaging Service Specialist III to join our team in Clinton North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of advanced biomedical imaging equipment. This role requires a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and technical staff to ensure optimal performance of imaging systems.
- What you will do:
- Perform installation preventive maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical imaging equipment including MRI CT X-ray ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging devices.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and ensure reliable operation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment needs and provide technical support during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records documentation and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in training clinical personnel on proper use and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
- Stay current with technological advancements and participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and institutional policies related to biomedical imaging equipment.
- Interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams
- Maintain OEM equipment (for example: Siemens Philips GE Canon etc.) and record all work performed in Renovos CMMS.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to any of the following: CT MRI X-Ray C-arms Fluoroscopy etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned under the leadership of a Renovo manager or supervisor
- 5 years of experience Imaging repairs and using with test equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft and Google software applications (Word Excel Gmail etc.)
- Leverage electrical and mechanical skills to complete daily tasks
- Interpret and utilize service manuals schematics and other applicable service information
- Perform/document planned maintenance and repair of the diagnostic imaging equipment and systems
- Demonstrate good organizational and communication skills
- Interact effectively with company personnel and clinical staff in accordance with Renovos operational and personnel policies/procedures
- Exercise problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with all equipment and technology
- Understand all aspects of clinical applications and image quality requirements related to imaging equipment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass background and drug screen
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree or Technical Certification preferred
- CBET CRES or OEM training preferred

- Must have near vision far vision depth perception and be able to distinguish colors
- Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot cold range of temperature surfaces fine motor skills manual dexterity and detect/distinguish odors
- Must be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely (50% of the time) and on occasion (5% of the time) up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to push or pull over 100 pounds frequently (20% of the time)
- Maintains safe working environment for self other associates patients visitors and medical staff in accordance with applicable standards and procedures relevant to job duties
- Full-time schedule Mon-Fri. 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required or permitted with prior approval
- Will need to be available for after-hours service emergency calls on weekends part of the on-call schedule
