Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst provides analytical reporting and coordination support for logistics operations and sustainment activities in support of ILS2 Task Order execution. This role supports the evaluation of supply chain performance transportation operations inventory management equipment readiness and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) requirements through data collection analysis and performance reporting.
Working closely with government stakeholders logistics personnel maintenance teams operational units and supporting contractors the Logistics Analyst develops reports dashboards and readiness assessments that support informed decision-making and operational effectiveness. Through performance monitoring trend analysis and sustainment oversight this position contributes to mission success by improving logistics visibility supporting equipment readiness and enhancing overall sustainment performance. This role performs analysis tracking reporting and coordination functions and does not execute logistics operations manage supply chain activities or perform logistics planning functions.
This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect analyze and report logistics and sustainment data related to supply chain operations transportation activities inventory management equipment accountability and readiness performance.
- Develop reports dashboards scorecards and performance metrics to support operational decision-making and mission execution.
- Monitor equipment readiness maintenance status inventory levels and COSIS activities to identify operational trends and potential issues.
- Analyze logistics performance data and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and sustainment readiness.
- Support coordination of maintenance activities inventory management efforts documentation control and configuration tracking processes.
- Assist with readiness assessments operational reporting and sustainment evaluations for mission-critical equipment and assets.
- Coordinate with government stakeholders logistics personnel maintenance teams operational units and contractors to facilitate issue resolution and information sharing.
- Maintain accurate records supporting documentation and data repositories related to logistics operations and sustainment activities.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and performance monitoring.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a college or University Degree in Business related disciplines that focus on Supply Chain Purchasing and/or Logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories principles and concepts within the specified discipline. May be entry level for those with an advanced degree. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting logistics operations supply chain activities inventory management maintenance operations or readiness reporting.
- Knowledge of data analysis performance measurement operational reporting and logistics support processes.
- Experience creating reports dashboards spreadsheets and data visualization products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel PowerPoint and data reporting tools.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic operational environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD USINDOPACOM logistics sustainment maintenance or contingency operations programs.
- Knowledge of Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) equipment accountability readiness reporting and maintenance management processes.
- Experience working with logistics information systems asset management systems or maintenance tracking applications.
- Familiarity with operational performance metrics business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms.
- Experience conducting readiness assessments and supporting sustainment planning activities.
- Prior military service or military logistics experience.
The expected salary range for this position in Hawaii is $86400 - $129600 (update as required). Actual compensation may vary based on experience qualifications work location and other job-related factors. This range is provided in accordance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements and applies to candidates working in Hawaii.
