Job Summary

SUMMARYThe ILS Med Room Support works as part of an Intensive Residential Treatment Services team that provides care treatment and rehabilitation for persons served who are experiencing significant mental health/psychiatric symptoms; who are demonstrating significant functional impairments; and who may have co-occurring disorders. This position will partner with the nurse by assisting with Med Room JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below. Provides assistance to person(s) served in order to promote their physical social and psychological frequently and positively with person(s) served and support staff to promote the rights of the person(s) served to achieve an enhanced quality of Nursing team as well as other team members with providing care in accordance with their treatment agency procedures to promote optimum health care safety practice and behavioral supports to maintain the well-being of person(s) duties (scanning faxing organizing).Transport person served as group and individual services for person person served independent living and maintain a cooperative working relationship with teams and outside the necessary financial management for the day-to-day operations of the program using established practices and procedures regarding the operations use of agency compliance with training licensing regulations and company policies and with the nurse regarding medication administration and monitoring and ensuring required documentation is clean and safe work the day-to-day therapeutic environment including the prevention of crisis at the lowest level of and participates in community and in-house recreational and leisure all documentation as required to ensure quality RESPONSIBILITIESNoneMinimum Knowledge and Skills required for the JobThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or abilities required to perform the job. Education and Experience: GED or High School Diploma with 2000 supervised hours in the delivery of services to adults with serious mental illnessBachelors degree preferred in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or universityPhysical Requirements:Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move Rate: $22-$23.50
