Illustration for Comics Instructor for K-12 After School

As a member of our network you will be matched with opportunities to teach Illustration (ideally with experience in Comics and Manga) for K-12 students at schools buildings and communities across Wash DC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.

• Develop age-appropriate Creative Arts/Crafts curriculum for after-school students (Comics Webcomics Manga)
• Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise
• Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged
• Foster a positive supportive and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
• Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment
• Track student growth and offer positive helpful feedback
• Arrive prepared on time and ready to teach
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class

A fun enthusiastic adaptable instructor with experience teaching school age children and who:
