As a Phlebotomist youll be one of the first healthcare professionals patients interact with during their care journey. Your compassion attention to detail and technical skills will help create a positive patient experience while ensuring high-quality specimen collection and accurate test results.
Shift: PRN
What Youll Do:
- Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary draws for laboratory testing blood donations and other diagnostic purposes.
- Verify patient identification and ensure specimen accuracy throughout the collection process.
- Label process and transport specimens according to established protocols.
- Maintain patient comfort safety and dignity during all collection procedures.
- Explain procedures and help alleviate patient concerns to create a positive experience.
- Follow infection prevention safety and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
Education-
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience-
- One to two years of phlebotomy or related healthcare experience preferred.
Certifications-
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation:
Hourly Range - $17 - $25.50
