IDOD Grinder

Summary - Varies Based on Department

• • Operate various CNC Grinders and or manual grinders OD surface etc and read blueprints to create machined parts to specifications.
  • Follow requirements to set up fixturing cutting tools etc. to complete job.
    • Calculate feeds speeds and depths of cut.
    • Ability to adjust program and tool parameters to achieve quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs.
  • Verify dimensions for conformance with calipers micrometers dial indicators and other measuring equipment.
  • Maintain machine and work area cleanliness perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Complete work safely to quality specs and within an acceptable time.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department
  • Set up operate and maintain various grinding machines surface grinding OD Bryant ID griding etc.
  • Report various metrics as needed

Education and/or Experience

• Equivalent to high school education or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May be required to have experience in OD/ID Grinders surface grinders centerless grinders etc.
