Job Summary

Title: I&C Test / Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Hanford Site Richland Washington

Duration: Initial 6 months; potential extension up to 12 months

Position Summary

All IT Solutions LLC is seeking an I&C Test and Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support independent review verification validation and acceptance testing for industrial-control hardware and software at the Hanford Site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop review and execute system interface and acceptance test plans and test scripts.
  • Support instrumentation installation testing electrical installation testing CAT and OAT activities.
  • Prepare requirements traceability matrices test records discrepancy documentation and final acceptance-test reports.
  • Perform independent software design-document and configuration-management reviews.
  • Verify that engineering deliverables are complete accurate reproducible and compliant with applicable procedures.
  • Review software change requests Engineering Change Notices and configuration baselines.
  • Participate in design reviews code reviews test-readiness reviews and onsite engineering walkdowns.
  • Coordinate corrective actions and document objective evidence of requirement verification.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering computer science information systems or a related technical field.
  • At least five years of relevant software quality assurance verification and validation or industrial-controls testing experience.
  • Experience creating test plans test scripts traceability matrices and acceptance-test documentation.
  • Experience with manual and automated software or system-testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of controlled software lifecycle documentation and configuration-management processes.
  • Experience reviewing industrial-control instrumentation or PLC-related systems and interfaces.
  • Strong technical writing document-review and Microsoft Office skills.
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and ability to satisfy Hanford badging and training requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 Subpart 2.7 IEEE software standards and DOE Order 414.1D.
  • Previous Hanford Site DOE or nuclear-facility experience.
  • ABB 800xA Allen-Bradley or Rockwell PLC testing experience.
  • Experience supporting regulated chemical-processing waste-treatment or environmental projects.
  • Experience conducting independent technical reviews or software-quality audits.
