Position details:

Role: IBM API Connect Lead

Location : Lansing MI. We are seeking a senior technical leader with 10 years of integration/API development experience and 5 years of hands-on IBM API Connect (APIC) experience.

The ideal candidate has strong Kubernetes knowledge and experience delivering APIs in containerized cloud-native environments.

AWS and Red Hat OpenShift experience are highly desirable.

Must-haves: IBM API Connect (APIC) REST/SOAP services API security (OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect JWT TLS) JSON XML XSLT Kubernetes and proven experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

Core responsibilities: Lead the design development implementation and support of enterprise API/integration solutions; guide technical teams; mentor junior developers; drive end-to-end API lifecycle delivery; and build scalable secure reusable services aligned with enterprise standards.

Strong pluses: IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) IBM MQ Red Hat OpenShift CI/CD AWS EKS DevOps practices enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture.
