Hyundai Automotive Technician

Berman Hyundai is seeking motivated and enthusiastic technicians at the Semi-Skilled through Journeyman level to join our dynamic and growing service team! 

Location: Lincolnwood IL 
Pay Scale: $22 - $45.15/HR (Based on Experience ASE Certifications and/or Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical issues
• Work alongside senior technicians on more complex repairs including engine transmission and suspension work
• Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
• Accurately diagnose electrical mechanical and drivability concerns
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment service information and special tools
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins

Qualifications:

• ASE Certifications 
• At least 2 years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting required. Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment follow instructions and take direction from senior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail ability to follow procedures and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
