Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our Hydropower and Dams group.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Manage projects concentrated in the water resources flood control and hydropowersectors with opportunities to participate in the infrastructure and mining/industrialsectors.
• Prepare detailed technical reports drawings specifications and correspondence.
• Develop business writing proposals and presenting to clients.
• Undertake technical reviews of documents and technical drawings prepared by theteam
• Complete Hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and analysis (using HEC and MIKEtools) as well as using GIS tools for analysis and presentation of concepts

You bring to the role:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a relatedengineering discipline with 5 years of relevant professional experience; or
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a relatedengineering discipline with 3 years of relevant professional experience; or
• PhD in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related engineeringdiscipline with 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Registered or eligible to be registered and licensed to practice as a ProfessionalEngineer
• Demonstrated expertise in the Water Resources Flood Control Flood Protectionand/or Hydropower sectors
• Team focused with excellent interpersonal skills and understanding ofmultidisciplinary projects.
• Effective time management skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to travel within USA and Internationally on short term assignments asrequired.

Salary: $100000 - $120000
