Job Summary
- Install service and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and control system issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including boilers furnaces air conditioners heat pumps and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Replace defective components such as motors compressors thermostats and electrical controls.
- Maintain accurate service records work orders and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers vendors and team members regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- Maintain tools equipment and company vehicles in safe working condition.
- Valid HVAC Technician License as required by state or local regulations.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of HVAC installation and service experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems electrical systems refrigeration cycles and controls.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift equipment climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand bend kneel and climb for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $40.22 - $47.32
