HVAC Service Technician

Seeking experiencedHVAC Technicians with a current Connecticut D2 or S2 license for a direct hire opportunity with our client in South Windsor CT.

Pay: $40 - $55 hourly (based on experience)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance troubleshooting repairs and service on commercial HVAC systems.
• Maintain all required trade licenses and certifications.
• Comply with Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and all applicable federal state and local occupational safety regulations.
• Attend required safety training.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Properly utilize required PPE when installing maintaining or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean professional appearance while working at customer locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as business demands require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current Connecticut S2 or D2 license required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• Commercial HVAC systems experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to respond to service calls on short notice.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reach with hands and arms.
• Climb ladders and stairways.
• Talk hear and smell.
• Occasionally sit.
• Frequently lift and/or move items weighing 050 lbs.

• Seldom lift and/or move items weighing 101 lbs.
