Job Summary

Take ownership of standard residential HVAC installations from setup through commissioning. Level 3 installers work independently troubleshoot confidently communicate well with customers and help newer installers build their skills.

Youll plan and complete high-quality heat-pump furnace water-heating ventilation and controls work across homes.
  • Plan equipment placement piping drainage wiring duct connections and efficient crew workflow.
  • Braze or flare pressure-test evacuate charge start up and commission systems correctly.
  • Diagnose installation and control issues and verify airflow and system performance.
  • Complete accurate documentation and explain system operation to customers.
  • Coach Level 1 and Level 2 installers and reinforce safety and quality standards.

Requirements
  • EPA Section 608 certification.
  • 35 years of residential HVAC installation or comparable Level 2 experience.
  • Strong knowledge of heat pumps ductless systems furnaces controls refrigeration and commissioning.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to complete standard installations independently.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work in attics crawlspaces rooftops and changing weather.
  • Valid drivers license; NATE manufacturer airflow/static-pressure Energy Trust or Spanish skills are a plus.
