Position Summary

TheHuman Resources Professional Isupports various HR functions by performing diversified clerical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating personnel records processing employment applications and payroll changes enrolling employees in programs and compiling reports. The role also involves conducting orientations distributing policies and assisting with benefits administration to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations.


The essential functions of the Human Resources Professional are to:


Internal Process Perspective:

By supporting key areas such as employee records management benefits administration and onboarding the HR Professional ensures an efficient and cohesive approach to HR processes.   1. Maintain employee records ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
  2. Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
  3. Coordinate and document new hire onboarding processes including preparing materials and scheduling sessions.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned.

  3. Compiling data for reports from personnel records Provides insights that enable better resource allocation and cost control.
  4. Updating employee files for payroll and benefit use Maintains accurate up-to-date records avoiding inefficiencies or errors that could lead to financial losses.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Education: Associate degree OR High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of HR related experience.


  • Skills:
  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid communication skills (orally and written) and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws compliance and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale change initiatives and drive business transformation.
  • Solid mathematical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Possess a current and valid drivers license.
  • Knowledge of ADP is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Seeing hearing talking standing stooping bending walking reading and writing.
  • Reaching with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more.

Environment:

  • Office environment: primarily in an office with moderate travel required and extended working hours occasionally.
  • The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate.
