Job Summary
Job Description
The Human Resources Manageris responsible foradministering the Companys human resources programs with primary responsibility for employee benefits administration and full-cycle recruiting. This position also supports onboarding employee relations HR compliance performance management policy administration and HRIS maintenance. The HR Manager serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies.
The ideal candidate is highly organized service-oriented detail-focused and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting both commercial and government contracting role islocatedonsite in our Bingen WA role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Objectives of this Role
HR Operations
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
Prepare new hire documentation.
Maintain employee personnel files.
Process employee status changes.
Maintain HRIS data integrity.
Assistwith career development and performance review administration
Support employee recognition and engagement programs.
Assistmanagers with employee relations issues.
Coordinate employee training activities and records.
Support offboarding processes.
Support timekeeping activities.
Support payroll processing activities.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Manage the full recruitmentlifecycleincluding:
Job postings
Candidatesourcing
Resume screening
Interview scheduling
Candidate communications
Offer preparation
Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and job requirements.
Coordinate background checks reference checks and pre-employment screenings.
Maintainapplicanttracking records.
Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and external talent sources.
Benefits Administration
Manage relationship with 3rdparty benefits broker for benefits administration activities
Administer all employee benefit programs (Medical Dental Vision Insurance 401K FSA/HSAetc)
Manage annual Open Enrollment process including employee education and communication.
Coordinate benefit enrollments changes qualifying life events and terminations.
Serve as the primary liaison with benefit brokers and insurance carriers.
Resolve employee benefit issues and questions.
Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
Assistwith annual benefits renewal process and benchmarking.
Compliance & Administration
Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws.
Assistwith audits including:
Benefits
Payroll
Personnel records
Update HR policies and employee handbook.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics.
Assistwith special HR projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
35 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Minimum 2 years administering employee benefits.
Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing orengineering-basedcompanies preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment law.
Experience administering employee benefit plans.
Excellent recruiting and interviewing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High levelof confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines.
Strong customer service orientation.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred).
