Job Summary

PURPOSEGain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and hands-on Human Resources assignments. The Human Resources Intern will support various HR functions including onboarding employee engagement benefits administration compliance initiatives and special projects. Work is performed under direct supervision while providing valuable exposure to core HR practices and business DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport onboarding activities including preparing new hire paperwork coordinating orientation sessions and ensuring a positive employee with benefits administration processes employee communication and benefits orientation maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment employee recognition and engagement programs by assisting with planning communication and coordination of events and in HR projects involving data gathering reporting research and process improvement with compiling and organizing information for departmental reports audits and compliance-related training and development initiatives including scheduling training sessions tracking participation and preparing in team meetings brainstorming sessions and cross-functional with employee relations initiatives and help direct employee inquiries to appropriate HR team exit interview administration and assist with analyzing feedback and identifying confidentiality of sensitive employee and company other duties and special projects as RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability be actively pursuing a Bachelors degree. Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher. Prefer junior or senior level but will consider other class levels. COMPETENCIESStrong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization. Comfortable communicating and interacting with employees candidates and business partners. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.
