Human Resources (HR) Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
The Human Resources Compliance Analyst conducts specialized audits analyzes and reports on compliance-related data and develops reporting and dashboards to support adherence to Company regulatory and operational requirements. This role focuses on compliance with federal state and local employment laws including minor labor regulations meal and rest break requirements and fair workweek legislation. The Crew Standards Analyst supports HR and scheduling technology initiatives through configuration validation user acceptance testing (UAT) policy administration and government reporting. This position plays a critical role in identifying risk driving compliance and protecting the Raising Canes brand.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on federal state and local employment laws and regulatory requirements to support company-wide compliance
- Conduct recurring compliance audits analyze findings and communicate results trends and recommendations to various levels of leadership through reports presentations and meetings
- Review Restaurant assessment results to identify compliance risks and trends and recommend corrective actions training opportunities and accountability measures
- Develop test scripts execute UAT and validate regulatory system configurations and enhancements across HR and scheduling platforms including onboarding offboarding and labor law settings
- Monitor compliance initiatives and follow up with leaders to drive timely completion and sustained compliance
- Maintain knowledge of changing employment-related regulations and prepare and submit required government reports including the annual EEO-1 report
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Restaurant Support Office teams Restaurant operations and field leadership to support compliance initiatives and business objectives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes reporting and compliance monitoring programs
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications :
- 3 years of analyst experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience analyzing data from HRIS scheduling or business intelligence platforms; experience with Workday HotSchedules Harri and/or Tableau preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources Analytics or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Build effective relationships and collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal communication with a high level of professionalism
- Handle highly confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
- Take initiative to improve processes and work with a strong sense of purpose and urgency
- Demonstrate flexibility adaptability and a positive team-oriented mindset
