HR Generalist

Location: California USA. Remote with occasional in-office meetings.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist & Office Administration Specialist to support day-to-day human resources and administrative operations. This role will be responsible for managing HR processes across the employee lifecycle while ensuring smooth office operations and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment onboarding employee documentation and offboarding.

  • Coordinate recruiting activities such as job postings candidate screening interview scheduling and offer administration.

  • Maintain employee records and HR databases while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist with payroll processing benefits administration attendance tracking and leave management.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws regulations and company policies.

  • Support employee relations matters and respond to employee inquiries.

  • Coordinate employee orientation training programs and engagement initiatives.

  • Prepare HR reports and assist with audits and compliance-related activities.

Office Administration
  • Manage daily office operations and administrative processes.

  • Process invoices purchase requests and administrative documentation.

  • Support travel arrangements including flight hotel and transportation bookings.

  • Maintain inventory of office assets and supplies.

  • Assist with internal meetings events and workplace logistics.

  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and employees as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Management or a related field preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources HR Operations Office Administration or a related role.

  • Experience supporting recruitment employee lifecycle management payroll coordination and administrative operations.

  • Experience working in multinational or fast-paced business environments is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and HR compliance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with HRIS or ERP systems is preferred.

  • Strong organizational problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
