LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team.
Location: Remote in the United States
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Human Resources Generalist to support the full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) functions for our multistate government contracting organization of 260 employees. This role is ideal for an earlycareer HR professional who is ready to grow take ownership of key HR processes and contribute to a compliancedriven fastpaced environment.
You will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure smooth daily operations exceptional employee experience and adherence to federal state and contractspecific requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate fullcycle onboarding and offboarding including newhire paperwork background checks and orientation logistics.
- Draft offer letters and coordinate all required postcontingent offer screenings and verifications.
- Post jobs on internal and external sites.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records personnel files and HRIS data.
- Support benefits administration including enrollments changes terminations and employee inquiries.
- Support the Director of HR in maintaining compliance with federal state and local employment laws including FLSA FMLA ADA and state-specific regulations.
- Support compliance with government contracting requirements such as OFCCP EEO reporting and contractspecific labor standards.
- Maintain documentation and auditready files for internal and external reviews.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR support needs.
- Assist with employee relations matters by gathering information documenting issues and escalating appropriately.
- Support employee engagement initiatives recognition programs and internal communications.
- Assist the Director of HR with HR initiatives policy updates and process enhancements.
- Support HR reporting metrics tracking and data analysis.
- Contribute to special projects such as handbook updates system implementations or training programs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 2 5 years of HR experience preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication organization and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting multistate HR operations strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with government contracting environments is a plus.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint BambooHR and/or Employee Navigator.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Expected Salary Range: $60000 - $70000 annually. Salary will be based on job-related knowledge skills education training certifications and work location.
