Our client produces high-performance cost-effective signal processing and optical telecommunications solutions for laboratory and industrial applications. They pride themselves on their ability to quickly and accurately capture market requirements and develop innovative solutions despite aggressive time and budget constraints.

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of their HR department as well as a resource for employees and managers on HR matters.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator supports a wide range of HR functions including onboarding payroll administration benefits coordination recruiting employee engagement compliance and HR operations. This position requires strong organizational skills professionalism attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding offboarding and training activities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll preparation data review and audits.
• Coordinate benefits administration including enrollments changes employee inquiries and billing reconciliation.
• Serve as a resource to employees regarding company policies benefits payroll time-off programs and other HR-related topics.
• Maintain HR documentation to support compliance reporting and audit requirements.
• Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings interview scheduling and candidate communications.
• Assist with cooperative education programs and other internship programs.
• Support employee engagement activities and internal HR communications.
• Assist the HR Manager with employee relations matters and other sensitive issues as needed.
• Coordinate HR projects and process improvements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Previous HR administrative recruiting payroll or benefits experience.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn HR systems.
• Dependable professional and eager to learn.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
