CONTACT INFORMATION:University Events Office or SUMMARY/SCOPE: A University Events Studentworker helps with the many facets of events here on campus. From alumni awardsdinners homecoming festivities luncheons University Christmas Party andmore our office provides logistical and creative help to make events on campustop notch. Along with the actual events our office also runs the campusreservation and calendaring system. This job requires someonecreative who likes making centerpieces photobooths balloon arches and with glue guns exacto knives and painting is a plus!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Help campus community throughevent reservation and calendaring process Provide creative solutions toevent issues Help with the overall aestheticofcampus events assist at dinners (Some nights and some weekends) whenasked. Createcenterpieces and decorations for events across campus EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate Current Student at HSU PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Be able to lift 10-25 lbs andcarry boxes from time to time WORK ENVIRONMENT: Diverse working environment not always sitting behind a computer desk ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position requirescreativity and opennessto learning new skills and crafts.
