Job Summary
The pay range for this position is $22-$27 D.O.E.
The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the DSD/DON/Administrator in Administering policies and implementing facility orientation.
Essential DutiesSupports organizational goals and and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and uphold strict confidentiality be team oriented and a results-oriented in organizing the orientation of new employees according to regulations which includes but is not limited to philosophy and objectives of care resident rights safety infection control and the policies and procedures of the Knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulation affecting human resource functions and ensures policies procedures and reporting are with recruitment and on-boarding of new employees. This will include candidate screening interviews and in data entry of required informationGathers information and prepares reports on various human resources topics as or updates employment records related to hiring transferring promoting and benefits programs such as life health dental and disability insurances pension plans vacation sick leave leave of absence and employee with the Risk Manager as needed on complex HR/WC casesEnsure that in-services are scheduled timely and posted in designated current records of orientation and in-service attendance for each in coordinating the safety program and scheduling pre-employment and current employee health examinations and tests as and/or coordinate all required Fire/Internal Disaster drillsBe courteous considerate and cooperative when communicating with all facility personnel residents and the and maintain good public relations on behalf of the available positions for the facility as information by answering questions and to team effort by accomplishing related results as attendance and assist with payroll in facility and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as other departments within the in recording all incidents/accidents. File in accordance with established policies and not to disclose residents protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the duties as assigned by the supervisor/DON/Administrator. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and and monitor garnishment orders and other issues that impact payroll payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions insurance coverage savings deductions and job titles and department/ division employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank reports by compiling summaries of earnings taxes deductions leave disability and nontaxable manual and process termination payroll checks in appropriate payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employers social security unemployment and workers compensation sick and vacation and complete verification of payroll allocations reports for the finance payroll prior to transmission and validate and the payroll accounts by resolving payroll payroll information by answering questions and employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information to team effort by accomplishing related results as with the assigned HRBP on complex HR cases providing support and ensuring alignment with organizational policies and completing audits and completing corrections to ensure the facility is in compliance.
Supervisory RequirementsThis position may have supervisor responsibilities for a HR Assistant
Qualification
Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Two years of college education preferred.2 years of administrative experience preferably within an HR department is highly interpersonal and customer service skills.
Language SkillsAbility to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Certificates Licenses RegistrationsTo perform this job successfully an individual must have knowledge in clerical functions and computer have knowledge of office machines and equipment.

Travel by auto or airline may be required.
