Join the City of Gresham as an HR Policy & Process Analyst a full-time limited-term role in the Portland metro area supporting HR policy and process development standard operating procedure improvement and HR data reporting and dashboards.

- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM FTE onsite in Gresham (Portland metro area Multnomah County)
- Position Description
What youll do
- Maintain HR documents and information that support clear communication of processes policies and procedures
- Assist with developing and revising HR policies procedures and standard operating procedures
- Analyze interpret and apply HR policies laws regulations collective bargaining agreements and employee rules and manuals
- Build and support dashboards and reports that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct research and analyze HR data across activities KPIs and special projects; gather and compile data from a variety of sources
- Provide technical and analytical support to the HR team; prepare and present reports and correspondence
- Collaborate across departments to coordinate efforts resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve transparency and efficiency
- Represent HR on committees task forces and special projects as assigned
- Qualifications
Minimum:
A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
One to four years of professional experience in human resources or a related analytical field plus coursework or a degree in human resources public administration business or a related field.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in human resources public administration business or a related field
- Three to six years of related professional experience
- Experience developing HR policy and process improving standard operating procedures and building HR data dashboards and reports
