HR Manager
Job Summary
- Lead Day-to-Day HR Operations Manage assigned HR staff and support the effective execution of daily HR functions in alignment with business goals and company standards.
- Partner with Leadership Work closely with assigned leadership teams to support HR and talent management strategies that advance the companys vision mission and operational goals.
- Strengthen Retention and Engagement Identify opportunities to improve employee retention productivity engagement coaching development and career pathing.
- Support Employee Relations Provide guidance to HR staff managers and employees regarding complex sensitive or specialized HR issues including accommodations investigations corrective action and terminations.
- Manage Performance Processes Support the administration of performance management practices ensuring managers are equipped to provide constructive feedback coaching and performance improvement support.
- Oversee Investigations and Compliance Manage and monitor investigation processes while ensuring company policies procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
- Improve HR Systems and Processes Oversee and refine employee processes using HR systems such as JotForm Paychex JJ Keller and related platforms to create efficient and streamlined workflows.
- Champion Onboarding Ensure the onboarding process is high-quality current and designed to provide clarity connection and alignment for new employees.
- Support Workforce Analytics and Reporting Manage HR data reporting and workforce insights in partnership with HR and leadership to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support Compensation Programs Coordinate the development and administration of structured compensation practices including job descriptions salary ranges and merit increase guidelines.
- Manage Leave Administration Oversee leave of absence programs including FMLA non-medical leave paid parental leave military leave short-term disability and long-term disability.
- Promote Safety and Quality Standards Follow all company policies DOT and OSHA safety rules C-TPAT best practices and ISO-related workplace standards.
- Uphold Professionalism and Confidentiality Represent Benore with integrity maturity and sound business judgment in all interactions.
- Maintain HR Documentation and Job Descriptions Ensure job descriptions personnel files and employment documentation are accurate current and compliant with local state and federal requirements.
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of two years of Human Resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
- Previous experience leading or supervising HR staff is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations HR compliance performance management leave administration and HR documentation practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint Teams and OneDrive.
- Experience with HR systems and platforms such as Paychex JotForm JJ Keller or similar systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to write reports business correspondence and procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers employees customers and the general public.
- Strong work ethic mature business judgment and reputation for integrity and confidentiality.
- Class D drivers license required. Candidate must be eligible to be insured under applicable company motor vehicle insurance policies.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Local travel may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required depending on business demand.
