Job Summary
Join Jack Links as our Talent Acquisition Intern in the Summer of 2027! You will gain hands-on recruiting experience while helping us attract and engage talent across a fast-paced global CPG organization. Working alongside our Talent Acquisition team you will learn the full recruitment lifecycle and contribute to meaningful projects that strengthen our employer brand candidate experience and early career talent pipeline. You will also network with a cohort of interns across the company and apply your academic experience to real business needs. At the completion of your internship you will deliver a final presentation highlighting what you learned and recommendations the team can sustain.
As a Talent Acquisition Intern you will partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to support sourcing candidate evaluation interview coordination recruitment marketing and early career programs. You will gain exposure to recruiting technology talent analytics employer branding and inclusive hiring practices while learning how Talent Acquisition supports the broader business.
Your internship will be based in Minneapolis MN. You may also have the opportunity to visit and learn within our manufacturing environment to better understand the talent needs across our organization.
Responsibilities and projects may include:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting Support: Partner with recruiters to support job postings candidate sourcing and screening interview scheduling candidate communication and pre-employment activities. Learn how recruiters evaluate talent and advise hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Early Career Recruiting: Take an active role in internship and early career programs including campus outreach career fair preparation candidate engagement interview coordination program communications and intern program activities.
- Candidate Sourcing and Talent Pipelines: Research and identify talent through recruiting platforms professional networks campus partnerships and other sourcing channels. Help build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand: Support the development of engaging job postings social media content campus materials and other candidate-facing communications. Research recruiting trends and recommend new ways to reach and engage talent.
- Candidate Experience: Evaluate key candidate touchpoints and recommend improvements to recruiting processes technology and communications that create a timely welcoming and consistent experience.
- Recruiting Operations and Analytics: Maintain accurate applicant tracking system data assist with recruiting reports and dashboards track program and process metrics and help identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications :
Minimum requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Organizational Development or a related field from an accredited university.
- Currently in at least the third year of an undergraduate program and planning to return to the degree program following the internship.
- Strong interest in Talent Acquisition recruiting employer branding or early career programs with excellent attention to detail prioritization interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with candidates and internal partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment tact and integrity when handling candidate and team member information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with applicant tracking systems LinkedIn Handshake or other recruiting platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a strong team player in a fast-paced changing work environment.
Additional Information :
The hiring range for this role is $20 to $22 per hour for a Bachelors degree candidate and $27 per hour for a Masters degree candidate. Actual wages will vary based on several factors including but not limited to external market data internal equity location and candidate skill set and experience.
