Agile Space Industries is a rapidly growing supplier of propulsion hardware and engineering services for the space industry. Responsibilities


Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure a smooth and compliant new hire experience.
  • Organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Manage I-9 verification and E-Verify compliance.
  • Initiate and monitor background checks.
  • Ensure completion of policy acknowledgments and required documentation.
  • Partner with team leads to facilitate successful integration of new employees.

HRIS & Employee Data Management

  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Process employee status changes including internal transfers promotions and job changes.
  • Support HRIS reporting needs and provide data insights as requested.
  • Track probationary review timelines and performance review cycle logistics.

Compliance & Record Keeping

  • Maintain personnel files and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support new hire compliance requirements and documentation management.
  • Assist with internal audits and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes including system updates and final documentation.
  • Conduct and document exit interviews; track trends and provide reporting insights.
  • Ensure timely processing of employment separation paperwork.

Employee Engagement & Development Support

  • Support LMS management and annual evaluation coordination.
  • Participate in team-building and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with HR digital transformation and process enhancement initiatives.


Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field is preferred but recent graduates with a passion for HR are welcome.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred.

Leveling Expectations


HR Generalist I

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 0-2 years of relevant HR people operations recruiting coordination or administrative experience.
  • Foundational understanding of onboarding employee records HRIS administration and employment compliance.
  • Ability to complete established HR processes accurately with guidance.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred but not required.

HR Generalist II

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2 or more years of progressive HR generalist or people operations experience.
  • Demonstrated experience independently administering onboarding employee changes offboarding HRIS records and compliance documentation.
  • Working knowledge of applicable employment practices and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Experience identifying process gaps interpreting HR data and leading process-improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to independently address moderately complex employee and manager questions and appropriately escalate sensitive matters.
  • SHRM-CP PHR or a comparable HR certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing routine administrative tasks.

Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs) may be required for moving files or equipment

Employment Type: Exempt

The expected salary range for this role is $60000 - $90000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience skills and internal equity and is determined as part of the interview process.
