Job Summary
Oversee the full local HR lifecyclefrom hiring and mobility to exitalong with local training compensation labor/union relations and HR reporting within a specific region.
Assist the HR Director in completing all required tasks and reporting in order to meet or exceed all corporate requirements.
Help employees and managers navigate through HR tools and processes.
Develop complex and strategic ad hoc reporting as required
Assist with audits necessary to maintain corporate compliance and insure adherence to laws and regulations.
Provides exceptional customer service to all employees by answering employee questions and/or responding to employee inquiries.
Administers drug testing programs and coordinating quarterly random testing as required.
Maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and retention policies.
Processes all invoices for the department in a timely manner.
Responsible for onboarding all new employees ensuring that all paperwork has been received and processed in a timely manner including I-9 verification.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of
Business Conduct & Ethics Antitrust Compliance Policy Protective Agreement Dispute Resolution Agreement DDOL EEOC etc.
Supports the vision and mission of the company.
Perform other tasks and projects as needed to support the human resources department.
Education/experience:
Bachelors degree (business organizational management human resources management or related degree) and a minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office specifically Excel (pivot tables v-look up etc.)
Ceridian Dayforce Workday and Cornerstone experience preferred.
Multi-state experience is preferred.
Must have experience supporting front-line management
Experience in warehousing manufacturing or distribution environments strongly preferred.
