HR Business Partner Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a HR Business Partnerfor a permanent position with a Major Food Production Company located in Norwalk IA. This position is fully onsite.

Compensation: $70000 - $110000 per year W2 based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This role will provide HR support and assistance to employees on a professional level carrying out responsibilities in functional areas such as safety recruitment retention staffing benefit administration employee relations records maintenance policy implementation and employment law compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operations teams to develop strategies to recruit develop and retain a skilled workforce
• Responsible for the recruitment and selection of employees by posting job openings reviewing applications and screening/interviewing applicants
• Prepare reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends
• Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action
• Review employment transactions for accuracy (ie annual reviews promotions transfers new hire paperwork)
• Responsible for HR compliance by participating in monthly quarterly and annual compliance audits and training
• Supervise the orientation process by ensuring the completion of all necessary paperwork conducting company tours and presenting information on company policies and procedures
• Assist in affirmative action
• Assist in identifying developing and facilitating employee training
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the HR team members
• Participate in teams (ie HR Strategy Teams Safety and Plant Continuous Improvement Teams)
• Provide support to supervisors and managers regarding personnel issues while ensuring policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently
• Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks
• Adhere to Quality work practices follow GMPs maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education training and/or experience
• 3-5 years experience within Human Resources in a manufacturing environment

Desired skills:

• Bachelors degree in human resources management
• PHR or other relevant certification preferred
• Demonstrates an understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
• Excellent verbal written and presentation skills
• Knowledge and experience in human resources policies/practices benefits and staffing
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
• Exceptional computer skills
