HR Assistant-Selah Plant
Job Summary
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The HR Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day operations of various human resources functions and duties at the plant including recruitment and onboarding; employee training; providing benefits payroll and scheduling support; assisting with employee performance issues; and serving as a point of contact for employees.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with plant staff and contingent staffing agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Principles and practices of effective business communication.
- Office administrative and management practices and procedures.
ABILITY TO:
- Operate a variety of office machines such as computer copier and fax.
- Learn and comply with pertinent policies and procedures.
- Use computers and computer software including word processing spreadsheets and databases.
- Meet behaviors established in Tree Tops performance management and development process.
EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATION/LICENSES AND TRAINING:
- Associates degree in business or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience performing scheduling payroll and data entry.
Pay Information
Salary Range: $55100 to $77100 annually
Target range: $27.15-$29.00 hr. (Anticipate weekly overtime for this role)
This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this positions grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors such as experience and if applicable location. Tree Top provides a bi-weekly payroll. This position is eligible for yearly incentive based on company performance.
